American pancakes with macadamia nut brittle ice cream


Dessert of macadamia ice cream, grilled pineapple, maple syrup and salted macadamia nuts on American pancakes.

Directions

  1. Peel the pineapple and halve in length. Remove the hard core and cut widthwise in slices of 1½ cm thick.
  2. Heat the grill pan without oil or butter and grill the pineapple for 3 minutes. Turn halfway. Drizzle with the maple syrup and turn off the heat.
  3. Heat the American pancakes according to the instructions on the package. Meanwhile, grind the nuts roughly.
  4. Divide the pancakes and grilled pineapple over as many plates as you need. Spoon a bread roll of Macadamia Nut Brittle ice on each plate.
  5. Garnish with the nuts and drizzle with the remaining maple syrup from the grill pan.
