Catalan peas
A tasty Spanish recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: meat, onion, olive oil, smoked bacon cubes, garlic, peas (frozen), mint, anis (aniseed liquor) and salt and pepper.

Peel and chop onions.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in pan.

Bake bacon for approx.

2 minutes.

Add remaining oil and fry about 3 minutes.

Peel the garlic and press it over it.

Add peas and allow them to thaw in approx.

3 minutes at mid-high heat.

cut fresh mint finely.

Add anis and about 3 tablespoons of water and gently peas the peas for another 3 minutes.

stir in fresh mint.

Season with salt and pepper..
