Crusty apple pie cake
Quick apple pie made of fresh puff pastry with apple syrup, sweet and sour apples and cinnamon sugar.

Preheat the oven to 175 ° C.

Roll out the fresh puff pastry on a baking tray covered with parchment paper.

With your fingers, push the piece a little further in all directions, so that the baking sheet is largely covered with dough.

Brush the dough with the apple syrup. Fold the edge of the dough 1 cm inwards to create a thicker edge.

Cut the apples into quarters and remove the core with a sharp knife.

Cut the quarters into thin sections and lay them on the dough in a tile-shaped manner.

Sprinkle the apples with the cinnamon sugar.

Bake the cake in the middle of the oven for about 35 minutes.
