Meal crostini with spicy bean spread, garlic and mushrooms


Crispy bread from the oven with garlic, olive oil and tasty spread

Directions

  1. Peel the garlic and finely chop the onion.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and fry the garlic in low heat for 6-10 minutes until golden and tender. Remove the garlic oil from the heat.
  3. Heat 4 tablespoons of the garlic oil in a pan and gently fry the onion. Scoop the brown beans and the oregano and add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Bake the beans for 3-4 minutes. Puree this mixture with 2 fried garlic cloves in the food processor or in a high bowl with the hand blender.
  5. Cut the mushrooms each into 3 slices. Heat 3 tablespoons of garlic oil in a frying pan and fry the mushrooms on a high heat until nicely browned and done.
  6. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Brush the bread thinly with garlic oil and grill it in a hot grill pan on both sides until golden brown. Spread the bread well with the bean spread.
  8. Place 4 slices each on 4 plates and divide the mushrooms. Serve with a piece of watercress.
