Meal crostini with spicy bean spread, garlic and mushrooms

Peel the garlic and finely chop the onion.

Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and fry the garlic in low heat for 6-10 minutes until golden and tender. Remove the garlic oil from the heat.

Heat 4 tablespoons of the garlic oil in a pan and gently fry the onion. Scoop the brown beans and the oregano and add salt and pepper to taste.

Bake the beans for 3-4 minutes. Puree this mixture with 2 fried garlic cloves in the food processor or in a high bowl with the hand blender.

Cut the mushrooms each into 3 slices. Heat 3 tablespoons of garlic oil in a frying pan and fry the mushrooms on a high heat until nicely browned and done.

Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.

Brush the bread thinly with garlic oil and grill it in a hot grill pan on both sides until golden brown. Spread the bread well with the bean spread.

Place 4 slices each on 4 plates and divide the mushrooms. Serve with a piece of watercress.
