Moroccan chicken with lemon jars


A nice Moroccan recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, lemon (polished), chicken drumsticks (575 g), ground cumin, chilli (mill), olive oil, garlic (finely chopped), baby potatoes (700 g) and spinach (a 300 g).

Directions

  1. Grate the yellow skin of the lemon and squeeze out the fruit. Pour the juice over the chicken and sprinkle with the cumin, chili pepper and salt. Let marinate for 5 minutes. Heat 3 tbsp oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken with half of the garlic over medium heat for 5 min. Around golden brown. Put the lid on the pan, reduce the heat and roast the chicken in 15 minutes until done.
  2. Cook the potatoes according to the instructions on the package. Spoon with the lemon zest, pepper and salt.
  3. In the meantime, heat the rest of the oil in a frying pan and fry the rest of the garlic for 1 min. Add the spinach in parts and leave to shrink. Season with salt and pepper. Divide the potatoes and chicken over 4 plates and serve with the spinach. Tasty with fresh coriander.
