Pita gyros with tzatziki and salad


Pita stuffed with filet steaks, Mediterranean herbs, cucumber, Greek yogurt, garlic, tomatoes and olives.

Directions

  1. Cut the meat into strips and mix with the Mediterranean herbs, the oil and possibly a pinch of salt.
  2. Halve the cucumber in the length and remove the seed lists. Cut ⅓ into bows and grate the rest with a coarse grater.
  3. Mix the grated cucumber with the yogurt and press the garlic clove above it. Season the tzatziki with pepper.
  4. Cut the tomatoes into thin parts and let the olives drain.
  5. Mix the olives, cucumber bowls and tomatoes with the rest of the oil and season with pepper.
  6. Prepare the pita bread according to the instructions on the package.
  7. In the meantime, heat a skillet without oil or butter and fry the meat with the marinade for 4 minutes on a high heat. Change regularly.
  8. Cut the buns open and fill with the salad, gyros and some tzatziki.
