Spicy spinach with chickpeas
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian starter contains the following ingredients: spring onions, chickpeas (à 400 g), (olive) oil, garlic, turmeric, turmeric spinach (à 300 g), tomato puree, salt, (freshly ground) pepper, lemon juice and ground cumin (djinten).

Clean the forest onions and cut into thin rings.

Drain chickpeas in the sieve.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in (frying pan).

Fry the forest onion for about 3 minutes.

Peel the garlic and press it over it.

Mix in cumin and yellow root.

Add spinach and let it sink to about 10 minutes in low heat.

Stir in the rest of the oil, tomato paste and chickpeas and gently simmer for another 5 minutes.

Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice..
