Stew with romaine
Stew with a twist made from stew potatoes, stew vegetables, romainesla, smoked sausage and spring onions.
Peel the potatoes and cut into equal pieces. Bring the potatoes to a boil with a little water with salt. Turn off the heat.
Put the stew vegetables on the potatoes and then the Veluwe smoked sausage. Cook over low heat for about 20 minutes.
Heat the semi-skimmed milk. Cut the head of romaine lettuce in width into strips of 2 cm. Do not use the hard stump.
Remove the sausage from the pan and drain the rest. Add the milk, finely crush and season with salt and pepper.
Cut the spring onions into thin rings and stir in the stew together with the lettuce. Serve with the sausage.
