Sweet and sour meatballs with rice
Asian recipe for sweet and sour meatballs with lots of vegetables
Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package. Meanwhile, mix the mince with the curry powder and season with salt and pepper.
With 12 hands, turn 12 balls of the size of a walnut.
Bake the balls for 8 minutes without oil or butter in a non-stick pan. Remove the meat from the pan and fry the wok vegetables for 5 minutes in the remaining fat.
Add the pineapple pieces with the juice from the can. Stir in the tomato paste and the vinegar and season with salt and pepper.
Add the balls again and simmer for 3 minutes on low heat.
Divide the balls with the vegetables and sauce over the plates and serve with the rice.
