Directions
-
Press a circle with a glass from each slice of bread.
-
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a frying pan and fry the mushrooms for 5 minutes.
-
Season them with salt and pepper and keep them warm under aluminum foil.
-
Dab the beef fillet dry with kitchen paper and sprinkle the meat on both sides with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.
-
Melt the rest of the butter in 2 large frying pans and fry the beef tenderloin in 3-4 minutes per side brown and rosé inside.
-
Remove the meat from the pan, place on a generous sheet of aluminum foil and fold loosely.
-
This keeps the meat warm and can rest.

Fry 3 circles of white bread in the meat fat of each frying pan in 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
-
Put the toast on 6 plates.
-
Put the beef fillet on the toast and put a slice of pâté on it.
