Pregnant and back pain
-
Back pain is common during pregnancy. Almost every pregnant woman has to deal with it, especially in the second half of the pregnancy. Often a different posture is the cause, but sometimes a bladder infection as well. Early in pregnancy, back pain can be caused by miscarriage, implantation or EUG.
Skewed vertebra

Abnormalities of the spine or a crooked pelvis come up much earlier during pregnancy. Not everyone has a perfectly straight back. When the spine is slightly crooked, this can cause back pain during pregnancy. A physiotherapist can help with correct posture during and after pregnancy. If back pain persists even after pregnancy, it makes sense to have it checked.
