It is best to eat fresh spinach on the day of purchase. Always wash fresh spinach well, even if it has already been washed before purchase. Especially if the spinach is eaten raw, washing well is extra important. Keep prepared spinach in the refrigerator for a maximum of 2 days and preferably let it cool in the refrigerator. Finally, it is wise to limit the number of servings of spinach during pregnancy to twice a week.
