Airy vanilla cup


A tasty Dutch recipe. The dessert contains the following ingredients: full yogurt, sweet apples ((eg royal gala), peeled), lime (pressed), vanilla bean (bag of 1.5 g), whipped cream (125 ml) and powdered sugar.

Directions

  1. Rinse a clean tea towel well under the tap.
  2. Hang a sieve over a bowl and place the tea towel over the sieve.
  3. Pour the yogurt into the tea towel and let it drain for 6 hours in a cool place.
  4. Cut the apples into small cubes.
  5. Cover them with the lime juice; the apple cubes do not discolour.
  6. Cut open the vanilla pod, scrape out the marrow with the tip of a knife and stir the marrow through the drained yogurt.
  7. Whisk the cream with the icing sugar and carefully spoon it through the yoghurt.
  8. Serve the vanilla cup with the apple cubes..
