Preheat the oven to 150 ° C. Stir the butter gently and creamy with an electric mixer. Add the cake mix, eggs and milk in one go and mix on low until everything is mixed well. Mix for a few minutes at the highest setting until the batter is nicely airy.

Sprinkle the turban with the shaved almonds. Turn around with the shape until the inside is completely covered with almonds. Pour in the batter and tap the mold a few times on the worktop so that the air bubbles disappear.

Bake the turban in about 60 minutes. Put a skewer in the cake as a check. When it comes out dry, the cake is cooked.

Deposit the turban on a scale and allow to cool. Sprinkle with icing sugar.
