Banana-soy-espresso smoothie


A tasty recipe. The drink without alcohol contains the following ingredients: walnuts ((60g), coarsely chopped), bananas (in slices), instant espresso (box of 25 pieces), soy drink natural (1 liter), ground nutmeg and brown caster sugar.

Directions

  1. Roast the walnuts in a frying pan without butter or oil in 3 min. Golden brown. Cool for 10 minutes on a plate. Keep 4 slices of banana for garnishing. Put the rest of the banana and walnuts in the blender or food processor and puree them.
  2. Dissolve the espresso powder in 4 tbsp hot tap water and add it to the banana puree together with the soya drink, nutmeg and sugar. Mix in 30 sec. to a smoothie. Add extra sugar if necessary and mix for another 5 seconds.
  3. Divide the smoothie over 4 glasses and garnish with a slice of banana.
