Cauliflower macadamia burgers


Cauliflower macadamia burgers with white cheese, zhug, egg, cream cheese and baby romain lettuce on multigrain bulbs.

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C.
  2. Divide the cauliflower into florets. Put together with the macadamias in the food processor and grind almost fine.
  3. Crumble the white cheese and mix with the cauliflower mixture, zhug, flour and egg in a large bowl.
  4. With 4 hands, mold 4 burgers of the mixture and place on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Bake for about 25 minutes in the oven.
  5. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the burgers for another 5 minutes for a nice golden brown color. Turn carefully halfway.
  6. In the meantime, remove the leaves from the lettuce. Cut the buns open, spread the bottom halves each with 1 tbsp cream cheese and divide the lettuce over it.
  7. Place a burger and serve the rest of the cream cheese in a container. Yummy! .
