Directions

  1. Prepare the mashed potatoes according to the instructions on the packaging.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the meat strips around on high heat for 5 minutes until done. Remove the meat from the pan.
  3. Clean the mushrooms with kitchen paper and cut into slices. Cut the pepper into strips. Fry the peppers and mushrooms for 3 minutes in the cooking fat.
  4. Spoon the paprika and the tomato paste through the vegetables and fry for 1 min.
  5. Bring the water to a boil. Add the boiling water and bring to the boil while stirring.
  6. Turn the heat low, scoop the meat back into the pan and stir in the cream.
  7. Heat the stroganoff gently for 2 minutes (without cooking), season with salt and pepper and serve with the mashed potatoes.
