Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Mix the butter, the caster sugar and the pinch of cinnamon with a fork.

Add 2 tablespoons of water, if necessary, to create an even mass.

Sift through the flour bit by bit and keep stirring.

Do not let the dough get too hot or the butter melts too much. Is the dough too dry. Then add more water.

Make balls of the size of a marble on the baking paper on the baking sheet. Do not put them too close together.

Spread the balls into rounds and sprinkle with almond shavings.

Bake them in 5 to 7 minutes and stay there to see if they do not burn.

Remove the beaters from the oven and let them cool down for a while.

Serve them with the dessert glasses with a sprig of fresh mint.
