Chicken cloves with lemon and olives


A nice Mediterranean recipe. The snack contains the following ingredients: poultry, lemons, chicken puffs (about 500 g), oil, onion (chopped), garlic (coarsely cut), ginger powder, saffron threads, fresh coriander ((a 15 g), finely chopped) and green olives without pit.

Directions

  1. Squeeze 1 lemon and rub the pieces of chicken with the juice.
  2. Leave for a short time and then pat the knots dry.
  3. Clean the other lemon well and cut the fruit into small segments.
  4. Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the chicken with the onion, garlic, ginger powder and salt and pepper for about 5 minutes on medium heat.
  5. Soak the saffron in 50 ml of warm water.
  6. Put the saffron with the soaking water, the lemon wedges and the coriander in the chicken in the frying pan and let it simmer for about 20 minutes.
  7. Add the olives for the last 5 minutes.
  8. Serve the snacks on small plates..
