Directions

  1. Cut the chicken into large pieces. Chop the onion coarsely. Cut the peppers into 3 cm pieces.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and gently fry the bacon cubes. Spoon the bacon on a plate. Sprinkle the chicken with salt and freshly ground pepper and fry the pieces in the bacon fat around brown. Sprinkle the mild and spicy paprika over it and spread the onion, pieces of bacon and paprika between the chicken.
  3. Spoon in the tomato paste and thyme leaves and pour in the stock. Bring over medium-high heat to the boil and let the chicken goulash simmer gently for 20 minutes. Allow the moisture to evaporate until the chicken is in a sauce.
