Chicken with pomegranate syrup
A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, pomegranate juice (chilled fresh), chicken ((1.4 kg), at room temperature), butter, cardamom powder, ground cinnamon, ground coriander, walnuts ((60 g) and coarsely chopped).

Boil the pomegranate juice in a saucepan to 1/3.

Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Remove the elastic and place the chicken in the oven dish. Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper. Brush with 1/3 of the boiled juice. Divide 75 g of butter into lumps over the chicken. Put in the oven and cook until about 1 1/2 hours cooked. Baste with the shortening every 20 min. Check after 1 hour regularly for doneness. Remove from the oven, cover with aluminum foil and leave to rest for 15 minutes.

In the meantime, heat 25 g of butter in a frying pan and fry the cardamom, cinnamon and coriander for 1 min. Add the walnuts and cook for 2 minutes. Add the rest of the boiled juice and heat for another 2 minutes. Serve with the chicken. Tasty with rice and grilled eggplant.
