Allow the ice to soften in 30 minutes. Line the high shell on the inside with a few layers of cling film. Cut the cake into thin slices.

Place the orange slice (of the cake) in the middle of the bottom of the dish. Line the sides of the dish with the cake slices.

Chop the chocolate into pieces. Heat the marmalade in a microwave at the highest setting for 10 seconds. Then stir in the ice cream with the chocolate.

Scoop the ice into the bowl and smooth over the top.

Allow the ice-cream cake to freeze for about 5 minutes in the freezer.

Place the dish upside down on a plate and remove the cling film. Serve the cake with whipped cream.
