With the Easter shape, put a figure out of the slices of bread. Brush the slices thinly with half of the butter. Heat the rest of the butter in a non-stick frying pan. Place the slices with the non-smeared side down in the pan and fry until golden on a medium-high heat.

Finely chop the herbs. Beat the eggs with cheese, chives and basil. Turn the slices of bread with a spatula.

Press a slice with the spatula well against the bottom of the pan. Carefully pour a quarter of the egg mixture into the hollow of the Easter figure. Do this with all the cuts.

Fry the underside of the slices for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown and let the omelette solidify. Spoon the slices with a wide spatula on plates.
