A tasty Dutch recipe. The dessert contains the following ingredients: hazelnuts (box 95 g), butter (at room temperature), brown caster sugar, eggs, flour, cinnamon powder, ginger powder and crushed mice (bread spread).

Preheat the oven to 160 ° C. Grind the hazelnuts in the food processor. Put the hazelnuts, butter and sugar in a bowl and mix to a soft mass. Beat the eggs through. Add the flour, cinnamon powder, ginger powder and the crushed sprinkles and knead into a cohesive, firm dough.

Roll out the dough on a floured sheet to a 1 cm thick sheet. Cut the dough into strips of 2 x 4 cm and put them on a griddle covered with parchment paper. Bake in the center of the oven for about 25 minutes until done.

Remove from the oven and press the still warm cookies on one side with the thumb (dumke). Take the biscuits from the baking sheet, place on a rack and let it cool down further.
