Clean the orange and cut into ½ cm thick slices. Put the cloves into the flesh.

Divide the ice cubes and gin over the glasses, stirring with a long spoon.

Spread the slices of orange with cloves over the glasses. Stir one more time.

Divide the tonic over the glasses, stir and serve immediately.
