Directions

  1. Heat the sugar with 100 ml water to a syrup.
  2. Peel the mangoes and puree them together with the sugar syrup.
  3. Add the Prosecco and fresh mint and pour the mass into a shallow freezer bowl.
  4. Put it in the freezer and let it freeze for about 2.5 hours. Stir in for half an hour (this can all be done a day in advance).
  5. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. For the waffles, mix the flour with the butter and a pinch of salt.
  6. Stir in the egg white, the icing sugar and the sesame seed.
  7. Spread this batter on the baking sheet into circles and bake them in the oven for about 10 minutes.
  8. Remove the slightly cooled waffles from the baking tray.
  9. Serve the granita in glasses with the waffles.
