Pilav of multigrain rice with chicken shawarma


A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, chicken stock, oil, onion (chopped), multigrain rice ((275 g)), chicken (shawarma), leeks (in slanted rings), red pepper (in small strips), snow peas ((200 g) and halved).

Directions

  1. Bring 600 ml water to the boil, dissolve the bouillon tablet. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan and fry the onion for 3 minutes. Add the multigrain rice and stir fry for 1 minute. Pour in the stock, bring it to the boil while stirring, place a lid on the pan and let the rice cook in 12 minutes. Scoop occasionally.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a stirring stir fry the chicken shred on high heat for about 5 minutes. Add the leeks, peppers and snow peas and stir-fry for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables are al dente. Serve the chicken shawarma with the multigrain pilaf.
