Pointed cabbage with lemon cream
A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: cabbage (about 1 kilo), lemon, fresh chives (à 25 g), butter or margarine, whipped cream (125 ml), salt and freshly ground pepper.

Clean pointed cabbage, wash, remove stalk and cut coals into strips. Clean the lemon thoroughly, grate the skin with fine grater. Grind chives.

Melt butter in pan. add coal and cream and braise for approx. Stir in lemon zest and simmer for approx. 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and, if desired, some lemon juice. Stir in chives. Delicious with veal schnitzels and mashed potatoes.
