Potato broccoli soup with ham strips
Soup of onions, garlic, potatoes, broccoli, cheese and ham strips.

Chop the onions and finely chop the garlic. Peel the potatoes and cut into 2 cm pieces. Cut the broccoli into small florets.

Heat the oil in a soup pan and fry the onion and garlic for 3 minutes. Add the potatoes and the water and bring to the boil.

Cook for 10 minutes on low heat. Add the broccoli and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat.

Remove from heat and puree with the hand blender until smooth. Season with pepper and salt.

Meanwhile, grate the cumin cheese, mix through the soup and turn off the heat.

Put the soup in the bowls, spread the ham strips over it and garnish with the cress.
