Potato soup with smoked trout


A tasty recipe. The starter contains the following ingredients: fish, potatoes (floury), vegetable stock, smoked trout fillets, garlic chives, Leffe blond (33 cl Belgian beer), crème fraîche (125 ml), salt and (freshly ground) pepper.

Directions

  1. Peel potatoes and cut into pieces.
  2. Bring potatoes with 1/2 liter of water to the boil and crumble bouillon on top.
  3. Cook potatoes for about 20 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, cut trout into strips.
  5. Grind chives.
  6. Drain potatoes above bowl (keep cooking water).
  7. Puree potatoes in food processor.
  8. Add cooking water and crème fraîche and simmer.
  9. Return mixture to pan.
  10. Carefully stir in Leffe and heat up the soup.
  11. Whisk the trout and garlic chives through them.
  12. Season the soup with salt and pepper..
