Directions

  1. Cut the oranges into slices.
  2. Pour the wine in a pan (not one of aluminum, because that affects the taste).
  3. Add the slices of orange, the clove, cayenne pepper and maple syrup. Heat on low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Do not bring the wine to a boil, because then the alcohol will evaporate. Remove the cloves. Serve immediately.
