Chop or break the chocolate into small pieces. Heat the milk au bain-marie. Let the chocolate melt in the milk while stirring.

Stir in the butter first and when melted, the whipped cream.

Pour the warm chocolate fondue into the pan of a fondue set. Keep the chocolate fondue warm.

Pour pieces of fruit into a fondue fork and dip into the fondue.
