Ingredients
Directions
-
Preheat the oven to 175 ° C.
-
Roast the nuts for 3 minutes in a frying pan without oil or butter on low heat. Cool slightly and chop finely.
-
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Remove the bell house from the apples. Cut the flesh into small cubes (brunoise).
-
Mix in the sugar and cinnamon and fry the apples for 8 minutes on a high heat until soft and the sugar is caramelized.
-
Place a slice of filo pastry in the baking tin and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with the sugar.
-
Do the same with another slice of dough and sprinkle with half of the nuts.
-
Put 3 slices of dough on top and spread them with butter and sprinkle with sugar.
-
Spoon the apple into the mold and cover with 5 slices of filo pastry in the same way. Finish with butter and sugar.
-
Bake the baklava in approx. 40 min. Brown. Cover with aluminum foil if it becomes too brown.
-
Meanwhile, reduce the apple juice to 100 ml. Add the honey and cook for 1 more minute.
-
Pour the apple syrup over the baklava if it just comes out of the oven. Allow to cool in the mold.
