Apple boats
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian pastry contains the following ingredients: (butter) puff pastry (frozen, 10 slices), apples (Elstar), lemon juice, egg (split (protein is not used)), breadcrumbs, fine sugar and cinnamon powder.

Preheat the oven to 200 ºC or gas oven 4. Let the slices of puff pastry thaw on the counter (this takes about 10 minutes). In the meantime you peel the apples and cut them into 4 parts. Clock houses out, and every apple part you cut into 4 slices. Drip some lemon juice over the slices so that they do not discolour.

Place the baking paper on the baking sheet. The boats may come! Roll the corners of each puff pastry slice 2 times. This way you get a kind of octagonal boats with small upright edges. Put them on the baking sheet. In a cup with a fork, whisk the egg yolk with 1 tbsp water. This mixture is thinly spread over the edge and bottom of the dough boats. Also sprinkle the breadcrumbs over it.

Place the apple slices as roof tiles on the bottom. Mix in a cup of cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle the tarts with a lot of cinnamon sugar.

Bake them brown in 20 minutes (in the middle of the oven). Let the cakes cool slightly - do you have a nice time to make tea.
