Apples with hot chocolate sauce
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: white wine, sugar, orange (scented), green apples ((eg Granny Smith), peeled), pure chocolate (in pieces), cardamom (ground) and whipped cream (125 ml).

Halve the apples and remove the cores.

Press the orange half.

Cut the orange peel of the orange (do not throw it away!) Bring the white wine to the boil with the sugar, the orange juice and half of the orange peel.

Cut the rest of the orange skin into very thin strips.

Place the apple and the orange strips in the wine and simmer for 15 minutes.

Allow the apples to cool slightly in the cooking liquid.

Remove the orange strips from the pan with a slotted spoon and let them drain.

Melt the chocolate with the cardamom and the cream on low heat in a saucepan with a thick bottom.

Remove the chocolate mixture from the fire as soon as it is nicely shiny.

Put 2 half apples per person on a plate.

Pour the hot chocolate over it and garnish with the strips of orange peel..
