Baguette with basil butter
A nice Mediterranean recipe. The brunch contains the following ingredients: butter (at room temperature), garlic (pressed), basil (finely chopped), red pepper, lemon (scrubbed) and baguette.

In a bowl with a fork, mix the butter with the garlic and the basil.

Cut the stalk of the red pepper.

Halve it lengthwise and remove the seed lists with a sharp knife.

Finely chop the red pepper and mix it with the butter, garlic and basil.

Grate the yellow skin of the lemon with a fine grater and mix it with the butter.

Season the butter with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.

Leave to set in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

With a melon ball scoop, roll bread out of the butter and put them in a small pile on a plate.

Heat the baguettes in the oven and cut them into slices.

Serve with the butter.

Garnish possibly with some leaves of basil..
