Baklava (walnut puff pastries)
A nice middle-eastern recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: filo puff pastry (frozen, 225 g), peeled walnuts, garnish almonds (a 45 g), sugar, butter, orange and cinnamon stick.

In a saucepan, bring 250 ml of water with 175 g of sugar, orange peel and cinnamon stick to the boil. Approx. Heat for 15 minutes until liquid syrup. Remove cinnamon stick and peel. Remove Baklava from the oven and cover the top with the rest of butter. Pour syrup evenly over baklava. Leave syrup and let baklava cool down.
