Preheat the oven to 180 ºC. Line the baking tin with baking paper. This way you can easily remove the bread later on.

Grate the orange shell of the oranges and squeeze out half the fruit.

Keep the grater separate. Put the juice with the caster sugar in a saucepan and heat over low heat until the sugar has dissolved. This takes approx. 10 min.

Meanwhile, sieve the flour in a large bowl with the baking powder, cinnamon and a pinch of salt.

Mix the butter, the caster sugar and vanilla sugar in the food processor in 20 seconds. to an almost smooth mixture.

Let it spin and add 1 to 1 eggs and crème fraîche. Scoop through the flour mixture.

Peel the bananas and fine. Spoon the banana with the orange zest through the batter. Distribute over the cake mold.

Use a sharp knife to cut the skin and the white skin of 1 orange and cut the flesh into thin slices.

Divide the tiles over the batter. Pour the sugar syrup over it. Bake in the middle of the oven in about 1 hour until golden brown and done.

After 50 minutes, check for doneness with the skewer. If this comes out clean, the cake is done.

Allow to cool for 30 minutes, remove from the mold and leave to cool in a further hour on a rack.
