Batard sandwich with roast beef and fried onion

Directions

Cut e onions into rings.

Heat the olive oil in a small frying pan.

Fry the onion rings with cumin and freshly ground black pepper over medium-high heat for 8 minutes until tender and brown.

Let them cool slightly.

Brush the slices of bread generously with piccalilly.
-
Drape four slices of roast beef on four slices each and divide the onion rings and some rocket over.

Cover with the other slices with the piccalilly side down.
