Bean soup with ciabatta
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian main course contains the following ingredients: olive oil, onion (chopped), garlic (squeezed), winter carrot (diced), celery (diced), tomato puree, dried thyme, chili powder, tomatoes (in pieces), white beans (800 g) ), vegetable stock (from 2 tablets) and ciabatta (Italian bread).
- 6 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 great onion shredded
- 2 cloves garlic pressed out
- 300 g winter carrot in cubes
- 2 stems celery in cubes
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in soup pan and gently fry onion, garlic, carrot and celery for 3-4 minutes.
Tomato paste, thyme and 1/2 tbsp chilli powder 1 min.
Stir in the tomatoes, the contents of the canned white beans and stock.
Bring to the boil and simmer for about 20 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Preheat the oven grill.
Place the bread on baking sheet and cover with 2 tbsp oil.
Sprinkle the remaining chilli powder and pepper over it.
Bring the bread about 10 cm under the hot grill and let the top crunch in 2-3 min.
Cut the bread into slices and serve with soup..
