Bread and butter pudding with figs

Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

Cut the slices of bread diagonally. Place the bread in a row, alternating with the figs on the bottom of the dish.

Beat the eggs with the cream, milk, sugar and cinnamon powder and possibly vanilla essence. Pour this mixture over the bread and the figs.

Sprinkle the brown sugar over it.
-
Put the mold in a roasting pan that is filled with hot water to halfway the height of the oven dish.

Let the pudding be cooked in the middle of the oven for 25-30 minutes.
