Canadian apple pie
A tasty american recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: freshly sour apples (eg gold pans), peeled walnuts ((50 g, AH), coarsely chopped), ground cinnamon, ciabatta ((bread), roasted), orange (scrubbed), eggs (AH), sugar (AH pure other organic), vanilla flavor (bottle 38 ml, Dr. Oetker), olive oil mild (AH), flour (AH), baking powder (pack 80 g10 bags, Dr. Oetker) and icing sugar (Van Gilse).

Ingredients
- 4 great freshly sour apples (eg Belle de Boskoop), peeled
- 1 bag walnuts (50 g, AH), coarsely chopped
- 3 tl ground cinnamon
- 8 slices ciabatta (bread), roasted
- 1 orange cleaned up
- 3 Eggs
- 70 g sugar organic
- 1 tl vanilla aroma bottle 38 ml,
- 130 ml olive oil mild
- 120 g flour
- 1 el baking powder pack of 80 g10 bags,
- Powdered sugar Van Gilse

Preheat the oven to 160 ° C. Remove the bell house from the apples and cut into segments. Mix the walnuts and 2 tsp cinnamon through the apple. Grind the bread in the food processor into crumbs. Grate the orange zest of the orange.

In a bowl, beat the eggs, sugar and the vanilla flavor with a mixer for 3 minutes. Add the oil gradually, little by little. Mix the rest of the cinnamon, bread crumbs, flour, baking powder and the grater in another bowl. Fold it lightly through the egg mixture.

Spoon half of the batter into the spring form. Divide the apple and walnuts and the rest of the batter over it. Fry the apple pie until golden brown and done in about 1 hour. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for at least 30 minutes. Sprinkle with the icing sugar.
