Candied carrot with orange
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: winter carrot, wok oil, fresh ginger root (grated), honey, oranges and sesame seed (roasted).

Peel the carrots with a peeler and slice them into thin slices.

Heat the oil in a stirring stir fry the ginger until it starts to smell.

Put the carrot through and stir-fry 2 minutes.

Add the honey and 2-3 tbsp water and let the carrot be gently cooked for 5-10 minutes and reduce the heat.

Season with salt.

Peel the oranges and cut into slices.

Spoon the orange slices through the carrot and warm them for 1 minute.

Sprinkle the sesame seeds over it..
