Candied carrot with orange


A tasty recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: winter carrot, wok oil, fresh ginger root (grated), honey, oranges and sesame seed (roasted).

Directions

  1. Peel the carrots with a peeler and slice them into thin slices.
  2. Heat the oil in a stirring stir fry the ginger until it starts to smell.
  3. Put the carrot through and stir-fry 2 minutes.
  4. Add the honey and 2-3 tbsp water and let the carrot be gently cooked for 5-10 minutes and reduce the heat.
  5. Season with salt.
  6. Peel the oranges and cut into slices.
  7. Spoon the orange slices through the carrot and warm them for 1 minute.
  8. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over it..
