Directions

  1. Halve the cucumbers and scoop out the seed lists with a teaspoon. Cut the cucumbers into slanted slices.
  2. Heat 150 ml of water in a saucepan with the sambal, vinegar, sugar and coriander seeds. Allow to cool down. Put the cucumber in the jar, add the red pepper and pour the brine water over it.
  3. Let stand in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably a whole night. Delicious with nasi herbs and noodles.
