Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Cut the onions horizontally. Put the onions side by side in a greased oven dish, with the cutting edges pointing upwards.

Press the layers of onion slightly apart with your fingers. Mix olive oil, balsamic vinegar and honey and cover the cutting edges of the onion.
