Ingredients
Directions
-
Draw a carrot (with foliage) of 10 cm long and 6 cm wide on the cardboard.
-
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
-
Sift the flour, the baking powder, cinnamon and salt over a bowl. Add the sugar and butter into cubes and rub between your fingertips to form a crumbly dough.
-
Split the egg and add the yolk to the dough; the protein is not used. Grate the roots and drain.
-
Add the oatmeal, coconut and carrot to the dough. Knead into a cohesive dough.
-
Wrap the dough in cling film and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
-
Place a piece of dough on a griddle covered with parchment paper and press flat. Place the carrot template on top and cut around it, so that you get a nice carrot out of the dough.
-
Repeat with the rest of the dough. Care on the baking sheet for 2 cm distance between the biscuits. Fry the carrot biscuits in about 15 minutes until golden brown and done.
-
Remove from the oven and let it cool down completely on a grid, this takes 30 min.
-
Mix a red and yellow color pencil to an orange color.
-
Decorate the cooled carrot biscuits with the homemade orange glaze and the green glaze from the package. Bon appétit! .
