Ingredients
Directions
-
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour. Heat this roux for 3 minutes while stirring.
-
Add the stock and stir until it is absorbed.
-
Add the cheese and the mustard and stir into a coherent ragout.
-
Cover the cake tin with parchment paper and spoon in the ragout. Allow to cool for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
-
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
-
Halve the roll of puff pastry in the length. Cut each part into 5 slices so that you have 10 slices of 13x8 cm.
-
Remove the cheese ragout from the cake tin and divide into 5 slices.
-
Divide 5 puff pastry slices over a baking tray covered with parchment paper.
-
Place each ragout slice in the center of the puff pastry. Coat the edges of the puff pastry with water.
-
Stretch the rest of the puff pastry slices slightly and cover the cheese rolls. Press the edges of the puff pastry well with a fork.
-
Beat the egg and brush the top of the cheese rolls with it.
-
Cut the top of each cheese roll in 3 places, but do not cut through. Divide the cheese over it.
-
Bake the cheese rolls in the middle of the oven for 15 minutes until golden brown and done.
