Sprinkle the chicken bolts with salt and freshly ground pepper and fry until golden brown in the oil. Scoop out of the pan.

Stir fry the onions, peppers and leeks in the shortening. Pour in the stock and the beer and heat.

Put the chicken back in the pan and add the raisins. Stew about 35 minutes with the lid on the pan.

Roast the pine nuts in a dry hot frying pan and sprinkle over the dish before serving.

Delicious with white rice.
