Chocolate petit fours with cherries
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: whipped cream (125 ml), cherries without seeds in syrup (350 g), chocolate cake (a 450 g), kirsch (cherry liqueur, liquorice), powdered sugar and dark chocolate.

Beat the whipped cream with 2 tbsp cherry syrup.

Cut the cake with a sharp knife into 4 square turrets and cut it in half, so that 8 cubes are created.

Cut each cube in half, so that 8 bottom and 8 tops occur.

Drizzle each bottom with kirsch (keep 1 tbsp kirsch for the glaze).

Spread a little cherry whipped cream on each underside and add 2-3 cherries.

Cover each bottom with a top.

Stir in the icing sugar with the last el kirsch to a thick smooth paste without granules (the glaze).

Brush the tops with it.

Put a cherry on each piece.

Grate nice curls of chocolate with a peeler and garnish the petit fours with chocolate curls..
