Mix the sugar with the cinnamon. Lay the dough slices together on a floured sheet and roll them out into a piece of 20 by 20 centimeters.

Brush the dough with butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar. Roll the dough from 2 sides to the middle, so that there are 2 rolling pins next to each other.

Cut the rolled dough into about 20 slices of 1 cm thick.

Place these cinnamon butterflies on the baking sheet and fry in the center of the oven for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
